After years of reading almost every book I could find on spirituality, theosophy, eosterics and metaphysics, I knew I had to distill all that knowledge into a book of my own, so in 2005, I started writing The Science of Spirituality. But soon after I began, I discovered the amazing work of Henry T Laurency, which changed absolutely everything. It was the information I had been seeking from the beginning, and it explained everything I wanted to know, in great detail. I spent the next year reading and digesting all eight of Laurency’s books, which enabled me to develop a comprehensive map of consciousness and the multidimensional universe. The material was extensive, detailed and complex, yet somehow I was able to understand and assimilate it all. It was like I already knew it, and was simply rediscovering the timeless knowledge in this lifetime. Much of that information has been condensed into The Science of Spirituality, which I published in 2007.

Although I felt a great sense of accomplishment from publishing my first book, I also left me feeling somewhat unfulfilled because it hadn’t really changed who I was. I knew the secrets of the universe, but I still didn’t know who I truly was. And that’s when it dawned on me – If I wanted deep transformational change, I needed to go deeper into my consciousness, because I couldn’t think my way to enlightenment and wellbeing. I know it sounds obvious now, but it wasn’t back then. I realised that I had to get out of my head and feel down into my heart (where emotions live) and into my belly (where repressed emotions are buried), and that’s when the real changes began. When I started feeling into my “stuff” instead of just thinking about it, it all started to unpack, heal and reintegrate. I began to feel whole, happy and fulfilled, instead of anxious, insecure and flat. I was transforming, and so was my life!

After a few years of deep, dedicated inner work, I was making great progress and my anxiety was long gone. I was (still) reading lots of books, and attending lots of workshops, retreats and training courses. I had learnt so much about healing, growth and awakening – both intellectually and experientially – that I knew I had to write another book. So, in 2012, I wrote and published Awakening To Wholeness, which is a practical guide to psychological healing, personal development and spiritual growth. It was very well accepted, and has helped thousands of people around the world to heal, grow, awaken and thrive.

Most of what I have learned since then is beyond words – exploring the subtle realms of essence, emptiness, nonduality, enlightenment, quintessence, spirit and totality – so there probably won’t be a third book. And even if I could find words for it, it needs to be understood experientially, so it can only be shared 1:1 – verbally and energetically.
